Who doesn't have to deal with junk and/or spam mail daily with anti-virus software and firewall installed notwithstanding?
Lately, I had to delete 3000+ of junk and spam mail after only a week of being away from my work. So it's not an exaggeration to say that I deal with this infestation everyday. Oh yes, we do have an IT team that looks after this but even then, no one is totally insulated from it.
Think about it, our mind is similar in many ways to our email app's Inbox. Are we vigilant enough to filter out negativity or any harmful thoughts that cross our minds? Are we smart enough not to dwell on these?
